Day 01: Cochin:
Arrival at Cochin Airport, meet and greet our driver/representative. Pick up and drive to the hotel. Go to sightseen for Athirapally Waterfalls and return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Cochin:
After breakfast go for City tour of Cochin, Sightseeing covering, Jew Town, Bolgatty Palace, Mattancherry Palace. Optional activity- Cochin Harbor sightseeing cruise (Cochin has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar:
Drive to Munnar, the very next day! Munnar is at the height of 4420 feet above sea level and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams. Munnar offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea plantations, picturesque towns and winding lanes. On arrival check into hotel, after lunch Half Day sightseeing covering Echo Point famous for its Echo Phenomenon, Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Lock Heart Gap known for its panoramic views. Evening free at leisure. Dinner. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Munnar:
After breakfast Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Thar. Anamudi peak which is at an altitude of 2695 m above sea level is situated in the southern region of this park. After lunch free for optional entertainments. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady – (Periyar):
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. On arrival check in to hotel get refreshed. Have a sightseeing tour in and around thekkady. In the evening visit the spice plantation and overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Thekkady – (Periyar):
After breakfast go for Boat Safari in the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, one of the most fascinating Wild Life Reserves in India. The greatest attraction of Periyar is the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lakes edge to drive away their thirst. Boating in the Periyar Lake watching the animals. Evening, visit the Spice Market where you can pick up some fragrant spices or handcrafted jewelers. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Alleppey – Houseboat:
After the breakfast drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is known as the Venice of the East has a largest network of Canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. Large number of tourist are attracted to this district because of its boat races, houseboat. On arrival check in to Houseboat. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. The cozy double bedroom, the sit – out, the sundeck, the well stocked kitchen and the modern toilette give the guests a feeling of being at home in the lovely waters. The time the houseboat anchors in lake gives the guests a chance to experience cloistered comforts in the company of there loved one. One can move through small narrow canals, lakes & lagoons see traditional fishing, farming below sea level etc., which will help you to catch a brief memorable picture of Kerala backwaters.
Day 08: Varkala :
After a refreshing breakfast served on board, check out from the houseboat and drive to Varkala (02 Hr Drive); on arrival check-in into hotel. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Varkala Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.
Day 09: Varkala:
After a breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing trip of Varkala. Enjoy the stunning golden beaches of Varkala. Spend the day at leisure, explore the beaches and indulge in various beach activities and games. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel inVarkala.
Day 10: Kovalam :
Backed by precipitously mounting headlands and covered by fertile coconut palms, the beaches, especially the southern most part of lighthouse beach.It is also lined with a host of shops and shacks offering all kinds of services; creating an unmistakable resort atmosphere. Curio shops, hawkers of Kashmiri and Tibetan products, moneychangers and beachwear shops, between the surplus of restaurants and hotels, do brisk business during peak tourist season.
Day 11: Kovalam – Trivandrum- Kovalam :
One of the most beautiful stretches of lovely golden beaches of soft sand facing the Arabian sea , an azure sky and warm clear sea, gives a perfect ambiance tempting you to take a dip, go on indulge yourself and let the waves sweep you off your body and spend your time lazing on the beach and relax in the breeze shade undisturbed for some time, quench your thirst from tender coconuts and encounter with many a friendly crabs.
Day 12: Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam:
One of the most exotic places to go in India is the city of Kanyakumari, also known as Cape Comorin, which is filled with many and interesting tourist attractions.The rich history and the cultural heritage of Kanyakumari is one of mixed culture and profound heritage. You can find many temples, churches, religious pillars and statues that will keep the head spinning. It is a place of mixed culture that is reflected in the arts, buildings and even in the food. You can have an excursion to the Kumari Amman Temple or to the Vattakottai Fort that stands erect even today.
Day 13: Departure:
After the break fast it‘s the time to depart to your onward destination, with heart filling memories. Drop at Cochin Airport/Railway Station.
